David Hagedorn, PhD
CEO of NeuroRead
Dr. David Hagedorn served as a U.S. Army Medic and then went on to work in various clinical and private practice settings over the last 25 years. His training, experience, and practice are in neuropsychology, geriatrics, clinical health psychology, and applied medical neuroscience. He serves as an international neuroscience and biofeedback consultant to several organizations. Dr. Hagedorn served as a teaching faculty and clinical staff member at Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune and Assistant Professor of Military and Emergency Medicine and Family Medicine at Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences - School of Medicine.
He serves as Chief Science Officer and Chief Executive Officer at NeuroRead and also as a medical advisor to other neuromodulation and health promoting organizations. Dr. Hagedorn is an international speaker and instructor for advanced psycho-neuro electrophysiology assessment and interventions with particular skill in the areas of traumatic brain injury, posttraumatic stress disorder, attention deficit and hyperactivity disorders, and neurodegenerative memory conditions. He has authored several patents in the areas of brain computer interface and neuromodulation and lectures on the integrative use of transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS), direct current stimulation (tDCS/tACS), and electrophysiology measures and treatments. Dr. Hagedorn is licensed in several states and is board certified as an electroencephalography biofeedback practitioner with particular skill in the applications of EEG and ERP, QEEG, brain computer interface (BCI), portable peripheral biofeedback methods, and neuromodulation.
